#RefugeesWelcome Demonstration at Stormont

On Monday 19 September, Amnesty International and the Northern Ireland Community of Refugees & Asylum Seekers (NICRAS) invite you, your organisations, members and supporters to join us at Parliament Buildings, Stormont to say #RefugeesWelcome in a demonstration of solidarity and support. Our gathering will take place just hours before the United Nations General Assembly begins a high-level summit on refugees and migrants.

So, we ask you to set aside a few hours to help refugees on Monday 19 September: join us and make your voice heard! Bring banners, placards and signs with your own#RefugeesWelcome message or show of support. We would love it if NGOs and grassroots community groups, trade unions, churches, others and individuals united to send a clear message to our governments.

In order to ensure access to the Stormont estate for this event, please email if you plan to attend: adrianne.peltz@amnesty.org.uk. There will be some bus transport available from Belfast to and from Parliament Buildings. Again, email if you would like more information or to book spaces: adrianne.peltz@amnesty.org.uk
