My name is Laura Gutierrez. I’m 27. I’m from Spain. When I was in Spain I studied a degree in psychology. And after finishing I was looking for a job for almost 2 years. And I couldn’t get one. I left Spain in 2012 in August and I came to Northern Ireland by myself. I was living in Northern Ireland for one year, and those three months in Cambridge. I didn’t really choose Northern Ireland. It was more because I saw volunteer, it would be cheaper and easier to get than England and I didn’t want to go to Wales or Scotland. I’m working as a childcare worker in West Belfast. And the object I brought is a ring that used to belong to my mum. It’s not that important for me, it’s only that it’s nice. So I like to wear it.
